FlashScreens V1 32bit for Windows 95 written by Carlos Moya CONTENTS ---Installation and required files ---Overview ---Registration and Support ---Bugs ---Changes since last version **INSTALLATION AND REQUIRED FILES** Required files: VB40032.DLL & associated files - Microsoft Visual Basic runtime library must be located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. The library can be found at FlashScreens Home Page at http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Union/1904/flashscreens.html To Install, run the Setup.exe program. If you are upgrading from a previous version make sure to specify the same folder on your hard drive as the previous version when prompted during the Setup process. **OVERVIEW** FlashScreens is a "virtual screens" or virtual desktops" manager. The program allows you to have a slew of programs open at one time without cluttering up your desktop or the taskbar. You can specify a screen for your word processing tasks, programming tasks, internet browsing, so on and so forth. Whatever window is opened in the current screen will disappear when you switch to another screen. Unlike in other virtual screens programs, the window disappears from the taskbar also! Furthermore, each screen has its own "QuickStart" toolbar, a handy alternative to the Start Menu where you can create shortcuts to your programs. You can move windows from screen to screen, copy windows to other screens, and specify which windows will traverse all the screens, plus much more. **Registration and Support** Visit the FlashScreens Home Page on the Word Wide Web at http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Union/1904/flashscreens.html If you have questions regarding FlashScreens or if you wish to receive an upgrade, I can be reached at the address listed below. Workaraound: after changing the colors add a button (then delete it) to the QuickStart toolbar to refresh the icons. **Changes Since Last Major Version** First version ¤
