Dive is an application developed specifically for SCUBA
divers who wish to keep detailed information about their
diving. Four main categories of data is catered for:

  * Dive sites
  * Dive log information
  * Equipment
  * Contacts

Dive also has the ability to store information for more
than just a single diver. In other words, the same program
can be used to maintain information for a number of
people. Log, equipment and contacts information for each
diver is kept separate, but dive site information is
available to all users.

Other key features include:

  * The dive log allows a user to enter profile information
    which is plotted graphically.
  * Report to remind of equipment overdue for service.
  * Ability to store graphical images in the database.
  * Detailed and summary reports for all data, with full
    print preview.
  * Automatic calculation of dive times and average air
    consumption rates.


Requirements
------------
  Dive requires Windows 95 or Windows NT3.51 or later.
  A display system capable of 256 colors or more is
  recommended.
  

Installing Dive on your computer
--------------------------------
  Open the Dive setup program DIVE103.EXE and follow
  setup prompts.

  To remove Dive from your computer, open Control Panel,
  run Add/Remove programs and select Dive from the list
  of installed programs. Click OK to start the removal 
  program.


Distribution
------------
  Dive is shareware. You are free to distribute unmodified
  copies of the UNREGISTERED version, provided that you
  verify that you are distributing the UNREGISTERED
  version (select About from the Dive Help menu to
  verify). You are hereby licensed to make as many
  copies of the software and documentation as you
  wish. Give exact copies of the original software
  to anyone and distribute the UNREGISTERED version
  of the software and documentation in it's unmodified
  form via electronic means.


Registering your copy of Dive
-----------------------------
  The registered version of Dive places no limit
  on the number of records you may store in the
  database. Once you have tried the software and
  like it, please register by sending payment of
  R100.00 directly to the author. On receipt
  thereof, you will be sent instructions and a
  password to register Dive in your name. There
  is no need to obtain another copy of the
  software.

  Registered users will receive notification of
  updates, which can be downloaded free of charge.

  Payment must be in South African Rand drawn on
  a South African bank, or you can send
  international postal money orders in South
  African Rand.
