Welcome to TeamWARE Embla 2.01

1. THE PROGRAM'S PURPOSE
   TeamWARE Embla 2.02 is a freeware Internet e-mail client for Windows 95 and Windows NT,
   using the new IMAP4 protocol for handling mail. (POP2/3 can also be used.)

   TeamWARE is one of the first Internet vendors to provide a IMAP4 compliant mail client.
   TeamWARE Embla allows users to view, move or delete e-mail messages on the server, 
   giving them the choice to selectively download messages, or message parts, to their PCs. 

   Main Features: 

   Easy-to-use interface with hierarchical views of mail folders and message                 
   structure. Fast mouseless operations. Automatic display of the first plain text.
   Binary, message and text attachments. Rich text editor. Support for national 
   character sets (7-bit and 8-bit). Alert function notifies on incoming mail. 
   Abort ongoing sending. Draft folder for draft messages. Online/offline mode.
   Batch sending of queued messages. 

   Server and client-based mail folders. Automatic handling of uuencode. Support for
   multiple users on one PC. Support for mail folder access from any PC. Import of
   senders e-mail address direct to address book. Send mail from mail-aware
   applications. Easy installation and administration. On-line help texts.

   Standards: SMTP (RFC 821) and IMAP4 (RFC 1730) POP2/POP3 (RFC 937/1225) MIME 
   (RFC 1521 and 1522).

2. INSTALLATION
   em202us.exe contained in this zip-archive is a self-extracting archive. Save it to
   your disk, run it and simply follow the instructions on screen.
   

3. THE STATUS OF THE PROGRAM
   TeamWARE Embla 2.02, English language version, is freeware. 
   However, you cannot redistribute without written permission from TeamWARE Group. 
   Please read the Licence agreement which is part of the installation procedure.
   All other language versions or bundles are subject to licensing agreements.
   Note, there is also a commercial version, TeamWARE Embla 2.0 Plus, available in
   English, German and Swedish.
