        You MUST uninstall previously installed 
        versions of Internet Transit in order to 
        properly install Internet Transit Version 1.3.

        To do this, 'Cancel' out of this setup,
        go to the 'Control Panel', double-click on
        'Add/Remove Programs', select Internet Transit,
        and click on the 'Add/Remove' button.

Internet Transit is a simplified, cost-effective client/server
application designed to allow multiple users simultaneous access to the
Internet using one modem, one phone line, and one Internet account...
no headaches, no commitment of resources for monitoring or maintaining
Internet communications.

    -Provides simultaneous access to the Internet from any networked
     computer using only one modem and phone line
            
    -Acts as a secure firewall protecting your internal network from outside
     intruders

     customizing it for your needs
            
    -Reduces on-line connection fees with the Dial On Demand feature which

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

    PC with a 486 processor or higher
    16MB RAM or more
    Windows 95 operating system
    Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking
    A Dial-Up account with an Internet access provider

INSTALLATION

    Internet Transit is distributed as either a ZIP file ('ITransit.zip')
    or a Windows 95 executable file 'ITransit.exe'.  

    If you download 'ITransit.zip', please unzip this file and extract the 
    2 unzipped files ('Setup.exe' and 'Readme.txt') to a directory of your 
    choice.  Run this executable ('Setup.exe') either at the Dos prompt or 
    from Windows 95 Explorer to start the installation.
    If you download 'ITransit.exe', run this executable ('ITransit.exe') 
    either at the Dos prompt or from Windows 95 Explorer to start the 
    installation.

    The installation process is straight-forward and is guided by InstallShield(TM).
    You need only supply your name and company name during the installation process.
    When installation is finished, you can find Internet Transit in the Internet
    Transit group in the Windows 95 'Start' menu. Internet Transit can be un-installed
    through 'Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs'. Select 'Internet Transit' and click
    on the 'Add/Remove' button. You will then be asked for a confirmation before
    Internet Transit is removed.
