WHAT IS CLASS MATE?
Class Mate is a teacher grading tool.  It automates the tasks involved in maintaining student records, and provides accurate and quick reporting of student and class grade averages.  The program supports multiple subjects, user defined grade categories, and will calculate grades for any time periods within the class starting and ending dates.  Class Mate allows the teacher to define grade categories and assignments, enter grades, and instantly view student and class averages as well as other data relating to student and class performance.  The teacher can see the effect a score will have on a student's average, even before recording it.
The program is easy to use, with most tasks performed on one screen, and with results instantly visible.

WHATS NEW:
Version 2.0 supports many new features including:
Improved user interface, enter grades as averages or raw scores, pop up grade calculator, backup and restore features, attendance tracking, grade curving, drop lowest grade, new reports, pre defined grade periods, and other new or improved features.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
Windows 3.1 or higher, 2MB free disk space, mouse, printer recomended.

DOCUMENTATION:
The file clasmate.txt contains a text version of the Class Mate Users Manuel for your use in evaluating this program. Also be sure to use the programs help section.

HOW TO ORDER:
To order a registered version of Class Mate see the file order.txt. Your order will include the latest version, as well as full documentation. Any data entered in your evaluation version will be preserved in your registered copy.

INSTALLATION:
To install this program, run the file setup.exe.
 
This programs places the following files in the directory you installed it in, (usually Clasmate).

EVALUATION COPY:
THIS EVALUATION COPY WILL EXPIRE IN 60 DAYS. YOU MAY RE-INSTALL THIS PROGRAM AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE IF YOU NEED A FURTHER EVALUATION, HOWEVER ANY CLASSES OR GRADES ENTERED WILL BE LOST! IF YOU WANT TO RE-INSTALL THE EVALUATION VERSION AND PRESERVE DATA YOU HAVE ALREADY ENTERED, CHOOSE A NEW DIRECTORY EACH TIME YOU RE-INSTALL. SEE HOW TO ORDER ABOVE.

This demo version of ClasMate is Freeware.
