SYMMETRY generates fractals, symmetric icons and quilts.
Save|Tile for cool wallpaper/HTML-backgrounds.
Images produced as 256 colour device independent bitmaps - you need
256 colour (or higher) display driver to view them.
SYMMETRY.EXE requires a 386;
a 486 with math coprocessor is highly desirable.
Runs under Windows 3.1_.
Also under Win95 with slightly reduced functionality 
- can't change colours.

OTHER FILE REQUIRED: DIB.DRV

Microsoft's (copyright 1991) DIB.DRV is NOT included. 
You have to get hold of it yourself.
It was distributed with Win3.1 (NOT 3.11) and Win3.11 SDK.

Create a new directory on your hard disk for SYMMETRY and move symmet10.zip
into it. Unzip with PKUNZIP 2.04g or info_zip's unzip 5.0p1 (or later).
Place DIB.DRV in that directory or somewhere in your path.
(If you already have the DLLs, or later versions,  on your 
computer there is no need to keep the extra copies.)

Add to a Program Manager program
group (eg Accessories) if you wish to start it up from an icon 
(select SYMMETRY.EXE in File Manager and drag it to the program group 
in Program Manager).
