Xara Webster
============

A downloadable utility for composing and optimising vector and bitmap
graphics for the web. Imports a range of vector and bitmap formats,
exports as JPEG, GIF or in Xara's own vector format designed specifically
for use on the web. Uses techniques such as anti-aliasing, colour
reduction, dithering and transparency to produce the best possible web
graphics in the smallest possible file space.

Note: for Internet connectivity Xara Webster relies on two DLLs supplied
with MSIE 3.0, which are distributed separately in the AXDIST.EXE archive
on the Xara Ltd site at http://www.xara.com/software/axdist.exe.

Installation: extract the program webster.exe from this archive and run it.
Status: Shareware

Xara Webster may be freely distributed provided that all files in this
distribution are also distributed with it.
