Do you speak German ?
If you do so I advise you to use the German version. It's named melos10g.zip
and is also available on SIMTEL.

This software was developed having in mind an user, that is a technical
interested musician or a music enthusiastic scientist.
You should enjoy to experiment. You should not expect, that the recognition
of pitch and duration will succeed right away without any error.
I hope as many users as possible will make some of a profit from the trouble
I have invested in this program. I would be grateful to any hint that would
help to improve the software.

The shareware version differs from the full version only in the maximum
number of notes you can use (50 versus 250). By registering you will get
the full version and future updates; your questions about the program will
be answered via e-mail. Furthermore you will get the documentation as a
Winword file. 

I think it goes without saying that the development of software takes much
time, patience and effort. The shareware concept is founded on users repaying
these efforts by a little contribution. So, if you like this program, please
