Files:        NetSoft LAN is distributed in one of two forms:

              1. NSLAN140.ZIP   (PKzip 2.04g)
              2. NSLAN140.EXE   (PKzip 2.04g self-extracting file)

              NSLAN140.ZIP contains NSLAN140.TXT and NSLAN140.EXE

Description:  NSLAN140 is version 1.40a of NetSoft LAN, a complete
              Local Area Network for DOS and Windows PC's and laptops.

              Using Serial Ports, Parallel Ports, Ethernet Cards,
              Arcnet Cards and Modems to communicate.

              NetSoft LAN is 100% MS-NET, IBM PC LAN and WinNet compatible.

IMPORTANT:    Please make a back-up copy of NSLAN140.ZIP  so that you
              can copy it to other machines on the network. This file
              is deleted as part of the installation process.

Installation: After Unzipping NALAN140.ZIP the following files will exist:

              1. NSLAN140.ZIP         The original distribution file
              1. NSLAN140.TXT         This File
              2. NSLAN140.EXE         (PKzip 2.04g self-extracting file)

              NSLAN140.EXE contains the following files:

              A. NETSOFT.IE           (NetSoft Archive File)
              B. UNPACK.COM           (Expands NetSoft Archive File)
              C. UNPACK.TXT           (README file for UNPACK.COM)

              Run the UNPACK.COM program to create the network files. e,g,
              -----------------------------------------------------------

              C:\INSTALL\>UNPACK (press enter)
              --------------------------------

              The network set-up program (NETSETUP.EXE) will automatically
              start and allow you to install the network files.

 NOTE:        UNPACK.COM deletes NSLAN140.ZIP, NSLAN140.EXE, NETSOFT.IE,
              UNPACK.TXT and UNPACK.COM as they are no longer required.
              
Distribution: Distribute freely
              As long as NETSOFT.IE, UNPACK.COM and UNPACK.TXT remain
              unchanged.
