Description: --------------- This software is for people who's having trouble to wake up in the morning. This is an alarm clock that makes sure you're not going back to sleep, by causing you to open your eyes and think before you can turn off the annoying beeps. It can then also play your favorite audio CD if you want. How? simply by letting you a simple mathematical problem to solve. You can set the alarm to a different hour for each day of week. 2. How to use: -------------- First, You'll have to set the alarm to the desired hour for each day in the week. (You can set only part of the days if you wish or even set none). It is recommanded to put a shortcut to the program in the 'StartUp' group in the Start-Menu. This way you can turn on the computer before you go to sleep, and only turn off the monitor (unless your monitor has Energy-saving feature). In the morning, the alarm will start to beep at the time you set. You'll have to get up and turn on the monitor (or move your mouse in the case of energy- saver monitor), then you'll see a window that displays a mathematical problem (two 3 digit numbers addition). To make the beeps stop, you have to enter the correct answer and click 'OK'. Notes: 1.In the unregistered version, a message box appears whenever you start the program and after you stop the alarm. Note that the alarm is disabled until you close the message (by clicking 'OK'), that means you have to close the message box before you go to sleep! 2.The program always starts minimized. You have to restore it (by clicking its button on the taskbar) only if you want to re-set the alarms, or change the 'Play CD' option. 3.The caption of the window (or the button on the task-bar) always shows the time of the next alarm set. 3. Requirements: ---------------- Windows 95 VB 4.0 runtime DLL To play a CD you need the program 'CDPlayer.exe' installed (the program is included with Windows 95) It is also required the the computer will be near you bed. 4. Installation and Removal: ---------------------------- The software does not provide an installation nor uninstall utility, because it only contain 2 files: Alarm.exe and this Readme.txt. Extract these 2 files to any directory you choose. For help on adding a shortcut to the StartUp group see the topic: 'StartUp folder, adding programs to' in the Windows Help. To remove the software, simply delete these 2 files and the file 'Times.dat' that the program created in the same directory. 5.
