Marcel Shareware Writing Tool--v3.3.10 May 1997 DESCRIPTION This is Marcel Shareware Writing Tool, the advanced writing program for journalists, writers, authors, diarists--or anyone who wants to write often and prolifically, with a minimum of fuss. It's small, easy to learn and use, and employs the system font for easy viewing. Because Marcel uses RTF file format, you can easily transfer your new files to all major word processors and publishing applications. It's loaded with features that writers will love--perhaps some you've always wanted and never have seen before! Now Marcel Writing Tool has a tie-in PGP encryption, and it can save files in HTML format. Marcel Writing Tool v3.3 is shareware, with a low $20 fee. If you like it, please register! FILES FROM A TYPICAL DOWNLOAD: If you downloaded the shareware or its spell files, you should have one of the following files. In some cases, the archiver has put it into a .zip file, which you can unzip with pkunzip, unzip, or pkunzjr. Then you should have one of these .exe files (and you can delete the zipfile). Each of the .exe files is a self-extracting archive. Move it to an EMPTY temporary directory. Then run it (by clicking on it in the File Manager or Explorer) to extract the multiple files within. If you want more info about free archiving software, please check out Info-Zip's Web site: http://www.cdrom.com/pub/infozip MARCEL33.EXE -- The entire Marcel Shareware Writing Tool, includes spell-check or thesaurus files. If you have this file, you don't need the next two. MAR33NS.EXE -- Marcel Writing Tool without any spell-check or thesaurus files. MARSPELL.EXE -- The Marcel Writing Tool spell-check and thesaurus files. SETUP: Running "setup" will create a "wt33" subdirectory under "\marcel" (for example, "c:\marcel\wt33"). If you used a previous version, you may wish to copy the def_font.txt file from the older version's subdirectory to this new one--only necessary if you ever changed that file. After a successful setup, you can delete any previous Writing Tool subdirectory (for example, "c:\marcel\wt3.2"). If you get the spell archive later (MARSPELL.EXE), just move it to the "spell" subdirectory (such as "c:\marcel\spell") and run it to extract the spell-check files. NOTE: Marcel's Writing Tools work great under Windows 95! Information about using Marcel Shareware Writing Tool is contained in the built-in Help feature.
