[Installation]

To install Script '97 Shareware Evaluation Version please follow these
steps:

1) Click 'Start' from the Win 95 toolbar.

2) Click 'Run...' from the popup menu.

3) Type in 'C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE' (where 'C:\TEMP' is the directory you
decompressed Script '97 to).

4) Follow the on-screen instructions.

5) Note - for optimal performance, install Script '97 to the default
path (C:\PROGRAM FILES\SCRIPT '97\).

6) When Setup is completed, load up 'My Computer' or 'Windows Explorer'.
Go to the folder you installed Script '97 to (default=C:\PROGRAM FILES\
SCRIPT '97\). Then, double-click on the files 'ScriptReg.Reg' and 
'ScriptStuff.Reg'. Each time, you will get the message 'System registry
has been updated', or something to that effect.

7) Now you're ready to use Script '97 Shareware Evaluation Version!

[Installation troubleshooting]

Question: I get the message 'Error registering file...'.

Answer: Make sure that you've closed all other applications and run
Setup again. If the error occurs, press 'Retry'. If the error again
occurs, press 'Ignore'. This is not an important problem.


Question: I get the message 'Error writing file...'.

Answer: Follow the steps described above. If this doesn't work, please
contact (horizon.soft@btinternet.com). In your message, please state
that you are using 'Script '97 SEV'.

[Running Script '97]

Script '97 will add a shortcut to your 'Start' menu. You can use this
to run Script '97 or you can use 'Explorer' or 'My Computer'. 

When you run Script '97, you will be shown the 'Welcome' message. Click
on 'OK'. You will then be shown the 'Shareware' message. If you agree
to the terms described, click 'OK'. If you don't agree, please do not
use Script '97 Shareware Evaluation Version.

Then you will enter the main Script '97 area. Along the bottom of the
screen is a row of customisable 'StatusBars'. Along the top is a row
of menus and a customisable 'Toolbar'.

From here you can do anything with Script '97. Please examine the 
'Help.Doc' file supplied for in-depth help.

[Script '97 troubleshooting]

The main troubleshooting section is supplied in 'Help.Doc'. The latest
news and help, however, is in this section.

Question: Why does Script '97 make a new, blank document when I try to
open a file?

Answer: When opening a file, please double-click on its icon or enter
its name and press 'Open'.
