Brief Description of Find++ 2.0
-------------------------------
	Find++ is a Windows 3.1x shareware utility that gives you a 
powerful and friendly tool to quickly search and replace text in 
multiple files. Find++ lists all the files matching your search criteria 
and then provides you with powerful commands with which you can quickly 
replace or edit all the occurrences of the specified text, saving you 
time and energy over conventional methods. Full context-sensitive help 
and a small tutorial helps you grasp its user-interface quickly.
	Search by specifying multiple file names with or without 
wild-cards or just drag-drop files from the File Manager. You can 
search files in all sub-directories or up to a specified sub-directory 
depth. You can search for a case-sensitive, whole word or a regular 
expression match. You can also specify file modification dates. 
	Sort the listed files using the file name, size or date as the 
sort key within or across directories. Rename, delete, copy or move files. 
	An edit window and a line list of lines containing the search 
text provide quick editing. Double-clicking a line in a line list scrolls 
the edit window to bring the context of that line into view. The 
search and replace command can replace all occurrences of a specified 
text in a file or even in all the listed files. Optionally, you can use
your favorite editor or associated program to view the file.

Installation of Find++ Version 2.0
__________________________________

1. Create a new Directory named say FINDPP. 
2. Unzip FINDPP.ZIP contents to this new directory. 

Then run Findpp.exe. Find++ comes with full context-sensitive help.
Do not use any older version of CTL3D.DLL with Find++ 2.0. 

Please read the Find++ 2.0 abstract in ABSTRACT.HTM for description of 
the software and its advantages over version 1.0.

Find++ is deemed as shareware and is not free. You may freely distribute 
it, however. This copy is fully functional but is for evaluation purposes 
only. Users are obliged to register and obtain a license for its use
