1. Free format support added when copying to floppy disks. Have you had bunch 
of floppies, which some where 2DD, some 2HD, same had some files you preferred 
not to remove or their size was less than standard 720k or 1.44M, because 
they had bad sectors?
Good News, Yes with this version this is possible. SplitWin will check the
free space on floppy and write as much as is free on floppy disk. 
Sounds good?  Check "Try to fill to maximum when copying to floppy disk" 
check box in Split Dialog to get that. 
2. Unregistered version shows now number of split runs.

1. Continue merge flag - if it set in default dialog merge continues even
when checksum errors encountered while merge. Generally not recommended 
to use, but it can useful in case of some disasters.

4. Now when merging file parts may be in different directories or
   drives.

1. Toolbar with pushbuttons added to simplify program operation.

2. Program uses different format to store file modification date. This 
format is compatible with Windows NT, Windows 95 and Unix. Versions
prior to ver 1.05 were using msdos format. 
This can cause to get strange dates of restored files, when using version
1.05 to restore files split by previous versions.
Anyway this should not create big problems as most people do not pay 
attention to date of modification. 
Besides this program is fully compatible with previous versions.

3. When activated first time, program runs not minimised. This makes more
sense, since more and more, this program will be used in windows 95 
environment.

1. Copy buffer increased - to speed up copying. It is 5 times faster now
specially significant, when spliting or merging from floppy.
2. Some changes to reduce flashing of messages in the progress window.
3. Defaults dialog added (size of split chunk 2DD floppy 2HD floppy or
other size set by user, work directory the same as the file source or 
selected directory).
4. When the file selected to split is smaller, then selected chunk size, 
as default is set 1/2 of its size.
5. Some changes to C++ code to enable work with Windows 95. This is still
not Win 95 version.

1. New more user friendly interface added (drag and drop files you wish to split
or merge from file managers or xtree for windows). 
2. Now SplitWin prompts to create directory for splited file or for target
file if this does not exists.
3. SplitWin retains original file date and time. If split files were created 
with SpliWin version earlier than 1.03 or split version earlier than 1.04
the file date and time are current system time
and date
4. Now is possible to stop program or switch to different applications,
while doing split or merge.
