After 'ttone.exe' is downloaded to the directory of your choice, run this executable either at the Dos prompt or from Windows 95/NT Explorer to start the installation. The installation process is straight-forward and is guided by InstallShield (TM). You need only supply your name and company name during the installation process. When installation is finished, you can find Internet Touchtone in the Internet Touchtone group in Windows 95/NT start menu. Select 'Internet Touchtone' and click on the 'Add/Remove button'. When Internet Touchtone starts for the first time, it displays the property window along with an icon in the system tray area. The tray area is the location where Windows 95/NT displays the clock. The Internet Touchtone icon in the tray area serves as the target for which a phone call can be made with a left mouse click. In addition to phone numbers, selected text containing URL and email addresses are recognized by Internet Touchtone. . Selected text containing multiple phone numbers, URLs, and/or email addresses are recognized by Internet Touchtone. . Internet Touchtone now uses a hyperlink-style window to display entry information. Phone numbers, URLs, and email addresses will be displayed in different colors and can be activated with a mouse click. . For those who love hotkeys, Internet Touchtone now can be activated by a hotkey/shortcut. The default shortcut is ALT+CONTROL+Z. When this key combination is pressed, any highlighted selection in the current window you're working on will be captured by Internet Touchtone. So, there is no need to click on the Internet Touchtone icon in the taskbar area if you use the shortcut. . Internet Touchtone is now also able to capture selections from the Microsoft Exchange window.
