PowerPrinter is a 32Bit Windows DLL that gives you total control over the printer. PowerPrinter is a brand new 32Bit DLL designed to support both Windows 95 and NT (3.51 and 4.0) shielding the developer from the OS differences. 

PowerPrinter can be used from any development tool (e.g. PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, Delphi, Centura, Omins 7, etc.) capable of calling external functions.

The Samples

Sample applications are available for PowerBuilder 5, Delphi 2, and VisualBasic 4 and have already been successfully tested with both VB5 and Delphi 3.

The sample applications show a few of the capabilities of PowerPrinter. They contain as well wrappers for the external APIs that you can include in your applications.

PB: Open ppsample.pbl and add powerprn.pbl to the application library list.
VB: Open ppsample.vbp
Delphi: Open dpprj.dpr

Upcoming 16 Bit version !

A scaled down 16 Bit version of PowerPrinter is already under development. The first release will have basic functionalities such as the capability to get the printers list, set the default printer, change the orientation etc. Please check out our web site for more info.
