Get Organized(GO) Version 5.5g for Windows - Group Scheduler CAPCAN Systems Development Copyright 1993-1997 Our days seem to be running at the speed of light. We are receiving information (via telephone, Email, fax, regular mail, courier, etc.) in volumes that we cannot process. We are expected to be in 10 different places at the same time with all the facts and figures for 10 different projects. If we are not careful, we will be consumed by this churning monster. We need tools to help us cope. Welcome to the world of group scheduling and Get Organized. Get Organized, better known as GO, is designed to assist with time management in the workplace. Whether it involves scheduling a team meeting, tracking personal schedules, or booking facilities, GO can both simplify and speed up the process. For the past six years, we have been listening to our users and addressing their concerns. Through this process, GO has evolved into the only EFA compliant group scheduler available! What is EFA? It originated from user feedback and stands for Easy to use, Functional, and Affordable. EFA ... its all that users really want. *********************************************************** This copy of GO is fully functional, but as a demo is limited to a maximum of 3 users. GO can support up to 700 users per single server. With the Cross Server option (available with the site license), GO can support a maximum of 700 users per server. Some of GO's features include; - 10 frequencies available for group/recurring event scheduling - "AutoSchedule" events (GO selects a suitable date/time) - search and global search facilities - support for Pegasus mail (to PMail and from PMail) - Mail Sentry module - advises users when GO has sent mail to them Enhancements to 5.5g - added variable weekly frequency for recurring events. Allows users to schedule events that occur multiple times in a week (e.g. every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Please feel free to share this demo disk with others. *********************************************************** * * * Upon completion of the evaluation of this software, we * * would appreciate feedback indicating what you like(d) * * and what you didn't like about it. Software Requirements: Microsoft Windows Version 3.x (GO has also been tested in - Win95, Windows NT 4.0 and OS/2) *********************************************************** The following summarizes the license agreements that are available with Get Organized. THESE DO NOT APPLY TO THE DEMO VERSION!! Standard License: The standard license is similar to most software licensing agreements. In a nutshell, you can install the software (GO) on one computer only and you may make one backup copy. The number of users supported depends upon the configuration that was ordered (see the file ORDER.FRM for more details). A site license CANNOT be acquired without a standard license. Site License: An optional site license is available, in addition to the to the standard license, for $1,800.00 (CDN). The license offers (i)the capability of supporting multiple servers (referred to in GO as XS Processing) and (ii) the right to install GO on any, and all, CPU's that belong to the individual or organization that GO is licensed to. Please note, that if the "ABC company" is the parent company of "XYZ company", the license applies ONLY to the company that registered the software, not all subsidiary companies. The maximum number of users per CPU is dependent upon the number of users that GO was configured for under the standard license agreement.
