** The Cash Register Inventory System INSTALLS on your hard drive **

          Exit to DOS by pressing ESC.   Type Manual and the   
          manual will print to your printer.  Read the manual.
          Then go to DOS and type INSTALL.  The program will
          Install itself on your hard disk drive. 
          MENU 2 - To read the files on this menu, select 
          the title by using the <spacebar> to highlight
          your choice.  Then press the <enter> key to select.  
          Pressing the spacebar will advance to the next page.  
          Pressing the <Esc> key will take you back to the menu.

          **USE PRINT SCREEN TO MAKE A PRINTOUT OF EACH SCREEN** 
  
               FILE READER will enable you to read any .txt or 
          .doc file on any drive.  After selecting FILE READER, 
          type in the Letter of the disk drive that your disk is 
          in i.e. A B or C.  Do not add the :. Check the 
          directory listing that is displayed.  Then type in the 
          complete file name i.e. BRICKS.DOC or BRICKS.TXT.  The 
          file will be loaded and can be read the same as 
          documents from MENU 2.
 
               Typing in file names with extensions other than 
          .doc or .txt may cause unpredictable results.  If you 
          do and something goes wrong, first try pressing the 
          <Esc> key.  If that doesn't work, restart your system. 

          THE IDEA OF SHAREWARE 

              The disk you just received is "shareware", unlike 
          commercial software, you have the opportunity to try it 
          out before you decide to buy it.  We have only 
          charged a small fee to cover the cost of duplicating 
          and distributing the disk.  On the disk the authors 
          explain payment and registration for their programs.  
          We strongly urge you to support the authors through the 
          registration fees.  They  hold the copyrights, not 
          SoftLore, and your obligation is to them.  They have 
          produced excellent software and will continue to make 
          quality low cost software available if they receive the 
          support that they deserve.  


               SoftLore cannot and does not mean to convey any 
          license to this program.  SoftLore's warranty is 
          limited to replacing defective diskettes of the same 
          title.  Sorry, but we can make no refunds.
