To install the system on your Hard Drive; change to the directory (CD.. )
where you want it installed and enter the command - COPY A:*.* .
To start the system enter the command DIRCS. A main menu will appear
and you will have the options of TRANSACTIONS, RATES, CALCULATE,
& EXIT.

     TRANSACTIONS allow you to enter a transaction date along with a
transaction amount. Use your cursor control keys to position the highlight
to a field, press enter to activate editing (a flashing cursor will appear),
type in the values, press escape to exit the field. To enter a new record,
press the cursor down key until the symbol <new> appears in the editor header.
To omit a record from the calculation press delete on that record, <deleted>
will appear in the editor header when the cursor is on that record.
Negative amounts in the transactions file are subtracted from the running
balance.

    RATES allow you to enter a rate in decimal form (ie: 8¬ % = .0825),
along with that rates effective date. Entry is done as with transactions.
These rates will be automatically adjusted into the calculations.

    CALCULATE will meld these two files together creating a balance
forward report similiar to a bank statement -- ie:

   A Printer file will also have been created (DIRCS.prn) for direction
