Propose It!


     Thank you for taking a look at "Propose It!".  This is a
shareware program to help you write proposals.  Proposals are
used to make sales, win bids and present ideas.  They can be used
in the public and private sectors.  They are also useful for
presentations in larger companies.  In these files, you will find
professionally prepared sample text and formats.  This is an easy
way to make you more successful in a very short time.  I have
designed these so that you can simply choose appropriate text,
fill in a few blanks and in some cases merge some documents. 
Consider these files as very powerful tools in your sales or
marketing strategy.

     (This program is also available for Macintoshes. Files are
in Text and Word 4.o formats.  Look for filename "propose.sit").

     "Propose It!" was written by David A. Works, a member of the
Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP).


Requirements:

     Any PC or compatible with a word processing or page layout
program will do fine.  Ideally, the program should have merge
capability.  These files are designed for use by those with a
basic (not advanced) knowledge of word processing.


                         List of Files:

     The files are in two formats: ASCII and Wordperfect 5.1. 
All files with a .doc extension are ASCII files and can be
imported into any word processing or page layout program.  Check
your particular documentation to see how to import ASCII files. 
All files with a .wp extension are WordPerfect 5.1 files and can
be opened by this or any later version of WordPerfect.  The
"merge.doc" file is a generic file.  It may need to be altered to
work with your particular software.


Cover Letter

     Use this letter with larger proposals.  It isn't good form
to just send out a proposal without a cover letter.  People like
to know what they are receiving.  Use this file with the merge
file (merge.doc or merge.wp).


Documentation

     A complete manual to walk you through the creation of a
professional appearing proposal.


Large Proposals

File for proposing large or more complicated projects.  Use this
file with the merge file (merge.doc or merge.wp).


Letter Proposal

     Contains templates for proposals in letter form.  Also
includes an overview template which I have found useful to
include along with a letter proposal to larger companies.  Use
with the merge file (merge.doc or merge.wp).
