The program and source code have been significantly reduced in price. Super File Encryptor 5.0: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ This is the new File Encryptor by SofDesign Technology. It's faster than version 4.01, and it boasts a new, easier to use interface. It also has a disk scan feature that scans a selected drive for encrypted files, produces a list file, and allows the list file to be stored on disk. There is also an extra layer of protection to the user of the product called the Console Password. Once the console password is set, it must be typed whenever run, allowing only the person who knows the password to use the program. This feature discourages unwanted people from encrypting your entire hard drive. A command line version of the SFE5 is included with the package and can be used in batch files and shells. It's perfect for using as an add on to a shell. Source code is available as well as commercial and site licenses. A commercial/site license is a one-time fee, allowing the purchaser to use in a commercial product he may be offering, or to be used at a public site like a computer center at a school, or in an office environment. Super Dos Tools 1.0 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ This program is a menu driven shell for navigating through your hard drive. On the right hand side of the screen is displayed the files in the current sub-directory. On the left hand side is a display of the directory tree. You navigate through the files and directories with your arrow keys or mouse. You can select files for deletion, copying, moving and printing. Super Dos Tools is somewhat similar in function to earlier versions of PC-TOOLS Deluxe. Ultimate Delete 1.0 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ This small utility will search your entire hard drive and delete those files you want deleted. Many programs, like Turbo Pascal, or Qedit (a wonderful shareware file editor) create BAK files on your disk. ULTDEL, when invoked with no paramters, will automatically search out and delete those BAK files from your hard disk. You can also specify what drive you want searched and what files you want deleted. Disk Verifier 1.0 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Disk Verifier will verify the sectors on your floppy disks or your hard drives and will produce a report of bad sectors that you can either print, save to disk, or send to the screen. PROGRAMMING LIBRARIES ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ ICON DRAW 286 with ICON TOOLS ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Icon Draw 286 is two programs in one plus an object oriented Turbo Pascal 6.0 programming library. ICON DRAW 286 is an icon editor that comes in both 286 and 8088 versions in the same package, and allows you to create icons for use with programming in DOS graphics applications. ICON DRAW will work with all standard graphics adapter from Hurcules to VGA 16 color modes. Both the ICON DRAW program and ICON TOOLS w/source code, come packaged together so you can be creating and using your icons in minutes. Note: This is not a Windows 3.0 Product, and the icons created with ICON DRAW are not compatible with any versions of Microsoft Windows. BUTTON BARS ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ This is a Turbo Pascal 6.0 object oriented graphics library for CGA, EGA, VGA 16 color mode, and Hurcules monochrome graphics. BUTTON BARS allows you to create 3-Dimensional looking push buttons in graphics mode. You can incorporate these buttons, and button bars (an object of buttons), into your applications to make fancy, user-friendly screens. These button bars were used to create the environment for ICON DRAW. BUTTON BARS work with a mouse and in fact one is required to use the Button Bars. The mouse unit is also included as a packaged deal and will work with Microsoft compatible mice. A Turbo C++ compatible library is in the works and is due later this year. Turtle Graphics Library: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Turbo Pascal comes with turtle graphics, but the turtle only works in two modes, 320x200 CGA or 640x200 CGA. With the Turtle Graphics Library, which includes the source code, you can program turtle graphics in any of the modes available to you in turbo pascal, taking advantage of higher resolution and more colors. The library comes with demo programs, showing the full power of turtle graphics. The source code is compatible with Turbo Pascal 5.5 and up. Fortune Cookie comes with a database of over 90 quotes, and allows you to add more. With Fortune Cookie, quotes can be displayed when you boot your system. Just place the program name and a paramter into your autoexec file like this fortune /r and Fortune Cookie will display a random quote from the cookie jar--the data base. Fortune Cookie comes with many features for maintaining your database, such as adding, deleting and purging. You can also print a numbered listing of all the quotes you have in your database.
