                               REQUIREMENTS
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Hardware: 286 or 386 PC with at least 1 megabyte of RAM.
           VGA or better graphics hardware.

 Software: Microsoft Windows 3.0 or higher running in either Standard
           or Enhanced mode.  Windows 3.1 or higher recommended.

           VBRUN100.DLL, the royalty-free Visual Basic runtime DLL
           file.  This DLL is widely available.  It can be found on
           CompuServe in the Microsoft Windows Advanced Forum
           (GO WINADV) as VBRUN1.ZIP in library #16 and on GEnie in
           the IBM PC RoundTable (IBMPC) as VBRUN.ZIP.  It can also
           be found on BBS systems and in shareware disk vendor
           catalogs throughout the world.

                        NOTE FOR WINDOWS 3.0 USERS
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Although this application is fully compatible with Windows 3.00 and
 3.00a, Windows 3.10 or higher is recommended for the best results.
 Windows 3.10 offers direct support for "stay on top" applications, while
 such routines had to be simulated for use under Windows 3.00 and 3.00a.
 Without this direct support, the Stay-On-Top Calculator window needs to
 "repaint" itself when another window is moved on top of it.  This
 repainting does not affect the functionality of the program, but it is
 noticeable.  The overall performance of this application, as with most
 Windows applications, is also improved greatly under Windows 3.10.
