Notes on Setting Up Trumpet Winsock 2.1f

Instructions re. Setup for Invention Factory

1. Setup dialog box shows the "Netmask" section "greyed out."
   To enter data in this section, you must edit the "trumpwsk.ini"
   file directly. This text file is created when you install the 
   program and is found in the "Winsock" directory. The line to edit
   is "netmask=0.0.0.0." Change the line "netmask=255.255.255.192." 
   (If there is a way to enter this data directly, I haven't found
   it.)

2. Sections that can be edited in setup dialog box:
   IP address, enter 199.183.47.95.
   Name server, enter 199.183.47.131.
   MTU, enter 1500 (This is the value that IF indicates).
   TCP RWIN, TCP MSS, TCP RTO MAX, leave default values.

3. Check Internal SLIP or Internal PPP (chose one).

4. SLIP port, your modem's serial port (eg. 1 or 2).

5. Baud rate, rate set for your modem's serial port (highest
   possible).

6. Hardware handshake, if modem capable of it.

7. On line status detection, DCD for most modems.
