1. Why doesn't ARV have an archive viewer, so I can look inside the files
   I am going to add to the ARV catalog?
   Because it is not necessary. You can install your own favourite archive
   archive viewer using the altf1 to altf10 configuration options.

    altf5=__aview %;AVIEW

   Will make aview available on ALT-F5 on the "adding new files" screen.
   AVIEW is the comment that will be displayed in the bottommost line
   on the screen as soon as ALT is pressed.
