How do you get rid of that blasted dragon at the end of the test 
of Courage.  He's easy enough kill, but comes back to life. He won't 
open the metal door until he's been properly defeated. How do you do 
this?

You have to go back to Etherian and speak to him about a powerful
artifact. He creates a forge for you. You then have to forge the
Blacksword according to the standard methods of forging swords 
described in a lock of books at a lot of blacksmiths (heat the blade 
till it's white hot, hammer it until it says it is too heavy, then 
cool it in the trough full of water) Then take the sword into the 
room with the magic mirror.  Use the gem you took from the dragons 
mouth on the mirror, then speak to the gem and tell it to bond 
itself to the sword. Go back to the dragon, get close to it, speak 
to the sword and ask it to use it's power of death on the dragon.

Walk through the door, through the moongate, then take the talisman.
You'll be back at the throne of courage. You then have to get the 
talisman of infinity, which is pretty easy. The sword will tell you 
how to do that.
