Laura Bow 2 : The Dagger of Amon Ra
 

~Level 4 (Act 4) Help.

I cant get the key off of the painting, and I cant find any way into 
the gift shop.  No one is around and I cant find any secret doorways 
or rooms. 


Okay - to get the key off the painting, you need EITHER the wire 
cutters or the Dagger of Amon Ra (!). What you have to do is INSTEAD 
of using the eye to look at the painting close up - use the 
magnifying glass on the glint on the wide view (ie when you can see 
the whole gallery). Then a circle with a picture of a skeleton key 
comes up - use the dagger or cutters on it.  The gift shop stays 
locked from Act 2 onwards. There is NO way in. I guess that you are 
trying to get into the gift shop so that you can get the Dagger?
Well - it has been moved. Without giving away too much, Olympia will 
report a blockage in one of the Alcohol Preservation Vats, (over the
intercom) if you are in Ernie Leach's office early enough. 
Investigate it.  As for secret passages - you have got downstairs (to 
the basement), haven't you? If not - have a THINK about it (blatant 
clue there) and you will find a secret passage downstairs.
