I have entered the tower with the assassin and have snagged the
necklace off the statue.  Before the assassin returns, how the hell 
do I GET the door with all the hands on it open?


You must have a document with some strange sentences on it. Every
sentence is linked to a special day (To find out what day it is, you
have to look out off the window and look at the moons (or stars?)).
Every word in that sentence begins with a special letter, which is 
the first letter of the color of the hand. So press the right buttons 
and the door opens.
