Solution: The basic difference between the two options is the amount of hard drive space required for the installation. HARD DISK INSTALLATION: This option places all of the game files directly onto the hard drive. It requires about 16 megabytes (MB) of disk space. Reasons to do a Hard Disk Installation: 1. You only have 4 MB of RAM on your computer 2. You are using a boot disk 3. You cant get the sound card to work with CDROM install 4. Slight speed advantage in loading tracks and starting the game CDROM INSTALLATION: This option only places about half of the game files (about 8MB) on the hard drive. The music files and the information for the different tracks remain on the CDROM, so, in order to run the game, the CDROM needs to be in its drive. Reasons to do a CDROM Installation: 1.
