Installation instructions for SlideShow 3.0 -------------------------------------------------------------- SlideShow will display your favorite BMP, GIF, PCX, DIB, TGA, and TIF(uncompressed) pictures on your screen as a slide show. SlideShow will display the pictures using 25 different fades, wipes and dissolves. Password protection is provided. Slide Show is SHAREWARE and freely distributible. (See file SHAREWAR.TXT) 1) Unzip SLDSHO30.ZIP into a temporary directory. 2) Run the file SETUP.EXE from the temporary directory. 3) The following files will be placed into your Windows System directory: SLDSHO30.SCR FXTLS150.DLL VER.DLL FXIMG150.VBX FXLBL150.VBX FXRTX150.VBX 4) When the install program is finished the message "Installation Complete" will be displayed. 5) From the Windows File Manager "MAIN" group, select "CONTROL PANEL" then "DESKTOP" icons. Under the heading "Screen Saver", in the name field, choose "SlideShow 3.0" 6) Click on the "SETUP" button. the SlideShow Configuration screen will be displayed. From here you can change the various options for SlideShow. An important change to make is specifying the name of the directory where your picture files are! 7) If you want password protection on the screen saver click the "PASSWORD" button. A password screen will be displayed where you can enter and verify your password. 8) Exit the configuration screen. Installation is now complete. To test the screen saver, select the "Test" button, which is above the "Setup" button. ** NOTE ** This screen saver requires VBRUN300.DLL to be in your windows directory. (It is probably already there, you need it to run any VIisual Basic program) If you don't have it, you can find this file on any BBS or FTP site.
