Installation
------------

Copy all files from the release disk into a new directory (eg. TREEDRAW) on
your hard disk.

Run TREEDRAW.EXE from the File Manager or create a new program item in the
Program Manager and double click on the TreeDraw icon.
You can launch TreeDraw from a Picture File (.TDR) if you have associated
.TDR files with TREEDRAW.EXE in the File Manager.
The program (.EXE), help (.HLP) and options (.OPT/.INI) files must all
reside in the same directory.

The files BWCC.DLL and SS_DATE.DLL should reside in either the TREEDRAW or
WINDOWS\SYSTEM directories or in another directory in your PATH. Since
BWCC.DLL is a common DLL you may already have it on your system in which
case you need only one copy available.

Kith and Kin V3.0 release.

Reads Kith and Kin version 3.0 tree files as well as V2.x tree files.

Date Format command and TREEDRAW.INI added to specify output format of dates

Zoom in/out did not always centre on selected element.

In Page Setup, custom paper sizes were not converted from inches to
millimeters correctly.

Custom paper sizes now print correctly.

Scale to fit page option did not work on printers which had different
horizontal and vertical resolutions selected.


Registration
------------

This product is SHAREWARE. The version on this release disk is a fully
functional evaluation copy which you may install and use free of charge
for 30 days. After that time, if you wish to continue using the program you
must become a registered user. Details of how to register are available in
the on-line help.

Help
----

To get you off to a flying start using TreeDraw, read the help topic
"Getting Started". This will lead you through the basics.

The TREEDRAW.HLP help file is a complete on-line manual for TreeDraw. As
well as providing context-sensitive help direct from TreeDraw, it contains
all the technical information about the program, usage tips and details on
how to register in an easy-to-use format. Please make extensive use of it,
you will find it very useful.

The file TREEDRAW.TXT is an extract of TREEDRAW.HLP in text format which you
may send straight to your printer. For example, you can do this in DOS using
the command "type treedraw.txt > prn".
