GOPHERD 0.11						23.9.1994

GOPHERD is Gopher server for Novell NetWare 3.11.

This is prerelease version. No searching, Gopher+ attribute blocks 
INFO, ADMIN, VIEWS only, etc. Read GOPHERD.TXT for info about installing 
and configuring GOPHERD.

Included are two text files (G.TXT and GPLUS.TXT), describing basic 
Gopher protocol and its extonsions.

GOPHERD reads info about documents and directories from text files 
with same format as used by Windows *.ini files. 
Two reasons :
1. Easy editing and understanding.
2. I plan Gopher directories management tool as a Windows application.

Some other plans :
- FTP gateway (from Internet to Novell LAN)
- Support for VIEWS attribute block with Czech character coding

0.10 When no Gopher+ extension is used in client request, server answers
     using Gopher0 protocol (support for old Gopher clients). Some Gopher+
     clients will not see Gopher+ information (HGopher, PC Gopher III, etc.).

0.11 Better logging of requests and answers (still not the best). Change made 
     in v0.10 reverted back, see new switch 'gplus_client_must_notify' in 
     config file.
