Windows ATM version 3.0-3.01 to 3.02 Updater

To update the ATM Program files to version 3.02, you must
have ATM version 3.0 or 3.01 already installed.  This 
update utility will not work with earlier versions of ATM.

NOTE:  You must exit out of Windows if you are running 
       Windows 3.1 or 3.11 or restart the computer in 
       MS-DOS mode if you are running Windows 95 before 
       running this update utility.  It can not be run in
       a DOS box from within Windows.


1.   Exit Windows (for Windows 3.1 or 3.11) or restart 
     the computer in MS-DOS mode (for Windows 95).

2.   Copy the files PATCH.EXE and PATCH.RTP to your
     Windows directory.

3.   Change your default directory to the Windows directory.

4.   Then type PATCH to run the updater.

5.   The patch utility will not only update the ATM program
     files, ATMCNTRL.EXE, ATMSYS.DRV, ATM16.DLL and
     ATM32.DLL, but will also create a backup directory
     called BACKUP and place a copy of the original version 
     3.0 or 3.01 files into this directory.

6.   Restart Windows by typing WIN and press ENTER (for 
     Windows 3.1 or 3.11) or EXIT and press ENTER (for 
     Windows 95).

7.   From the File menu in the Windows 3.1 Program Manager 
     select RUN (or from the Run option in the Windows 95
     Start button), type ATM.INI and press Enter.

8.   In the [Settings] section of the ATM.INI file change 
     the line

     version=3.0 (or 3.01)

     to

     version 3.02.

9.   If you are upgrading from ATM 3.0 add the following 
     lines in the [DisablePSBD] section of the ATM.INI file:

     Pm5app=Yes
     Wpwin60=Yes
     Wpwprint=Yes
     FLW2=Yes

     Make sure the entries in this section are spelled exactly 
     as they appear here.

10.  Save the changes and restart Windows.

11.  After verifying that ATM has been properly updated by 
     launching the ATM Control Panel and checking the version 
     number in the upper left-hand corner, you may delete the 
     files PATCH.EXE and PATCH.RTP from your Windows directory.


That's all you need to update to version 3.02.



Error Messages:

"error ept006: Invalid copy of file found. No update can be done."

This error message means that you are trying to update a version of 
ATM prior to version 3.0. This patch requires version 3.0 or 3.01.


"Files making up New System are already Up-To-Date !!!"

This error message means that your ATM program files have already 
been updated to version 3.02. You do not need to patch them again.
