Caller ID --------- This OS/2 PM program plays WAV files based on the incomming phone number. It also displays name, number, date and time of caller. Then is displays a image of the caller. Also a log file is keep with the name and number of the callers. What you need: o Supra or zoom modem with the caller ID option. The ZyXel is suppored in Russian and Standard mode(Not Tested) o OS/2 V2.1 or better (Tested under Warp only) o Sound card and MMPM/2 Installed How to setup: There is one configuration file it is called: CALLID.INI. The first line of the file must have the com port and the word modem. Example: COM1 MODEM The lines the follow are in for format of: NAME PHONE_NUMBER WAVE_FILE_NAME BMP_FILE_NAME. Example: Annnomous P anomous.wav Out_of_area O outofa.wav Work 6141234567 work.wav brent.bmp Note: There should not be any spaces in the NAME. Note: The PHONE_NUMBER can have ? marks in it to match all number in that position. The number 614332???? will match any number starting with 614332. The Wave & Bmp files are in a default directory called WAV & BMP off the directory where callid.exe is stored. The wave files can be played any where by adding a path to the file name.
