Brief history of NEWSCAST.EXE

To find version number of NEWSCAST use the command line NEWSCAST/V


V1.0 - 1st realease

V1.1 - Colour text added (reg version)

V1.2 - User defined boxes added (reg version)
     - Colour text on header added (reg version)
     - Entry number added
     - problems with date if entered as 9-9-94 and not 09-09-94 cured. Both
       formats now acceptable.

V1.3 - Some text editors added trailing spaces to last line of text so @@@
       divider line would become 40 chars long instead of 3. Program modified
       to cope with this.

V1.4 - Multi Colour Header text added

V1.5 - Bug in Multi Colour Header section fixed

V1.6 - Two more box types added

V1.7 - Copy to ALTNEWS.A?? files added in regd version

V1.8 - Preview Text option added to registered version

V1.9 - Error trapping on colour codes and date format in text file added

V1.9a - Preview Text section altered. Now gives much better display
      
V1.9b - Entry numbers can now be reversed so the 1st entry can have the 
        highest entry number. Users will now know how many entries there are.
        Bright Colours in text now work okay.
        Bug in date input section cured.
        Colours.txt file now included in archive.

V1.9c - Problem with some key files now cured. 

V2.0  - Centralised data box added
