SC’N ’ ZIP version 3.0 Copyright: (c)1995 õOKîR software [ WHATS NEW IN THIS VERSION ] [*] SC’N ’ ZIP is now in EXE format instead of COM making it much faster and more powerful than version 1.0 or version 2.0 [*] The "/P" parameter which was to pause after unziping, scanning and clearing workspace has been taken out. Not very useful. [*] If you decide not to clear workspace then the files will be moved to the drive and path which you specify afet the "/D" parameter. (You MUST skip a space between /D and the path & DO NOT put a slash "\" after the specified path) [*] The /N parameter used to send no output to screen has been taken out. Not a very useful utility. [*] The log file will be called SCANAZIP.LOG instead of SCNZIPVR.LOG. It will be located in the root directory. Also the log style has changed for the better. [*] If there is another ZIP file inside the the main ZIP file then the internal ZIP file will be scanned after the main ZIP file has been scanned. Makes scanning more safe and reliable. [*] The ZIP files which contains errors will be moved to a root directory in your current drive called BADZIP instead on BADFILE (if BADZIP doesn't exist it will be created) [*] Lots of problems in older versions of SC’N ’ ZIP have been fixed in this version. [*] Quits using McAfee SCAN's and/or PKUNZIP's exiting errorlevels to garauntee more safety. [*] The /M command allows you to scan the memory for viruses before you scan the archive file(s) for viruses. [*] You can use the new kind of McAfee virus scanner "ALPHA-TEST" version which is much quicker and better to scan archive file(s) for viruses. [*] Detect's if an illegal or bad parameter(s) is/are specified. [*] The /L parameter which was to locate and list all the ZIP files and their path on current drive has been taken out. Useless just like /P
