ARLX055 Call for club judging

It's time for the Amateur Radio New Service's annual Publication
Contest.  The ARNS is an organization of ham newsletter editors and
publicists, and publishes the monthly ARNS Bulletin ''to help its
members better promote Amateur Radio by improving their own
publications.''

Each year, a committee of ARNS editors calls for sample newsletters
from members and then ranks them, providing useful advice in the
process.  The contest is open to all Amateur Radio organizations and
ARNS membership is not required (general circulation magazines and
professional journals are not eligible).

To enter, clubs should submit one copy of any issue of their
newsletter from the period July 1994 through December 1995.  Send
them to ARNS President Lee Knirko, W9MOL, 11 South La Salle St,
Suite 2100, Chicago, IL 60603.
