MasterCook Patch v3.01 for MasterCook v3.0 3.5" Disk PC version (Small Font) (c)1995 Sierra On-Line, Inc. This patch may be freely distributed as long as it is not modified in any way. This patch updates MasterCook v3.0 3.5" Disk PC version to MasterCook v3.01. Areas fixed or improved are: 1. Allows you to easily escape when trying to import a recipe that is open in another application or word processor. 2. Corrects full view screen updating to reflect text being deleted using the Ctrl-D (delete line) in the edit recipe screen. 3. Corrects inaccurate search results when entered criteria for search takes up more than one line. 4. Corrects line feeds being stripped causing text to wrap on imported recipe files. 5. Corrects the wrong recipe being imported when importing individually selected recipes. 6. Allows use of the save button when "ASSOCIATE WITH INGREDIENT" function of the recipe edit screen is in use. 7. Correct the error "OPERATION NOT ALLOWED ON SORTED STRING LIST" when trying to modify and copy an ingredient in the ingredients list. 8. Corrects the error "INDEX (XXXX) FOR TBITS - SETBIT OUT OF RANGE" when switching to the ingredients list while editing a recipe. 9. Corrects imported recipes being added to multiple incorrect categories. 10. Removes "MasterCook export:XX" header from exported recipe file. 11. Corrects the detection of *.ASC files when importing recipes. 12. Corrects MasterCook not searching the last cookbook in the list when the "ALL AVAILABLE COOKBOOKS" option is selected in the search menu screen. 13. Corrects program halt caused by deleting recipes from the recipe clipboard that reside in more than one cookbook. 14. Corrects the category scroll bar retaining its original position when changing views. To apply the patch: 1. Place the PATCH.EXE and the MC301.RTP files in your \SIERRA\MSTRCOOK directory. 2. Type PATCH MC301 3. Your MSTRCOOK.EXE and IMPMXP.DLL files are automatically updated.
