You're a young person, just learning the basics of the special art
called magic. You live in the castle region of Splendor. Your father is the
kings wizard mage. Splendor has a castle and a village just outside. One day
evil and EXTREMELY powerful wizards come to Splendor from Mount Valgor to
find the location of a powerful magic. After trashing the nearby village,
they take the castle, practically tearing it apart. Your father is taken
prisoner, while trying to save the king, who is also taken prisoner. You wake
up alone in the destroyed castle. Among the rubble you see a shinning object.
It appears to have been concealed in the wall where the "Great Shield of
Andoria" once was. You crawl over and pick up the object. It appears to be a
talisman of some sort. Upon it is a symbol of a star shinning down on a
pointed rock that is coming up from the ground with a large book upon it. It's
the legend of the NeonFlare, the most powerful magic of all. (You have heard
the legend many times from your father). Also, on the talisman is a picture
of the planet crumbling away like a chunk of dirt being crushed, with the same
pointed rock holding up the book. You then remember that the rock is the
hardest substance in the world, and that it can destroy it as well.
It's at that moment you realize what you must do, almost as if it's your
destiny. Rescue your father and the king before the evil Valgor wizards find
the stone and destroys the world.
