Do NOT use this driver with NT 3.5. ***************************** 2.0 Installation Notes 1. Ensure that you have a copy of PKUNZIP.EXE, v1.10 or later. PKUNZIP is available on most BBS and information services, including the ATI BBS and CompuServe. 2. Start Windows NT. 3. Start a MS DOS prompt. 4. Unzip 64NT3520.ZIP into a temporary directory on your hard disk. For example: MD \ATITEMP PKUNZIP 64NT3520.ZIP \ATITEMP 5. Exit the MS DOS prompt, and return to the Windows NT desktop. 6. Run the Windows NT Display program located in the Control Panel, Main group. 7. Select Change Display Type. 8. Select Change... from the display options. 9. Select Other... 10. NT will prompt you for the correct path, enter C:\ATITEMP where C:\ATITEMP is the drive containing the unzipped contents of 64NT3520.ZIP. 11. A list of all Graphics Accelerator drivers will appears, select ATI Compatible Driver. 12. Restart Windows NT. Windows NT will start up using the mach64 drivers. 13. NT Will boot into 640x480 mode and start the Display applet allowing for mode selection. Note: If you select a color depth or resolution, not supported by your card, NT will substitute 640x480, 256 color for the display. 14. Once the driver has been installed, you can delete the contents of the temporary directory (DEL \ATITEMP\*.*) and delete the directory itself (RD \ATITEMP). 15. We recommend that you keep a copy of the ZIP file, 64NT3520.ZIP, in case you need to install the driver again.
