Adaptec 6000 Family Managet Set - v1.01

                  6000 Family Manager for NetWare v4.0x
                  =====================================

This subdirectory contains Adaptec's Novell solution for all AIC-6260 and 
AIC-6360 chip based products. This includes all AHA-1505, AHA-1510, 
AHA-1515, AHA-1520, AHA-1522, AHA-1530P, and AHA-1532P host adapters, 
as well as embedded AIC-6X60 chips on the motherboard.


This directory provides the following drivers:

     NetWare 386 v4.0x SCSI Disk Driver and ASPI Manager for the AIC-6360;
     AHA-1520.DSK and AHA1510.DSK (v2.1).  NOTE: DMA is not supported in this
     release.  The standard V1.1 ASPITRAN.DSK (4.0 version) transport
     layer driver is also included on this diskette.

The basic installation process is as follows:

     At the server console prompt, or embedded in the STARTUP.NCF system
     file, load the driver as follows:

	For the AHA-1515, AHA-1520, AHA-1522, AHA-1530P, AHA-1532P, and 
	embedded AIC-6X60 chips on the motherboard (with BIOS support).

		  : load aha1520 <options>

	For the AHA-1505, AHA-1510, and embedded AIC-6X60 chips on the 
	motherboard (w/o BIOS support).

		  : load aha1510 <options>


	where the <options> are:  port=                340,140
				  removable=           off
				  fixed_disk=          off
				  sel_to=              0,32,64,128
				  verbose=             y
