Upgrade compatibility ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ If you want to reuse your configuration files of an older version of Print- Format with a newer one, the table below shows you, if this is possible. If you change to a newer version, the line right to the newer version will contain an (1) or an -. An (1) means, that you can keep your file, if you modify it according to the procedure described below. An (-) means, that you can't reuse the file, even after modifying it (if you modify the file anyway, Print-Format might crash, if you try to load the file). If you skip a version, you can only successfully modify your files, if every version in between allows this modification. (It's safe, to create backup copies, before you start.) You can do this with tools like a disk editor e. g. DiskEdit (Norton Utilities) or the hex file viewer/editor of XTreeGold. You can also use Windows Write to edit the files (refuse the offer to convert the file to Windows Write, change the file version from "2.xx" to "2.yy" and save the file).
