DIET TRACKER IS SHAREWARE AND MAY BE FREELY COPIED & DISTRIBUTED

DIET TRACKER IS A COMPREHENSIVE DIET ANALYSIS PROGRAM WHICH ALLOWS THE USER
TO ENTER DATA ON EVERY FOOD/DRINK ITEM THEY CONSUME EACH DAY.  EACH ITEM HAS
A CALORIFIC VALUE WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO VIEW THEIR DIET PROGRESS.  THE 
USER MAY ALSO ENTER DETAILS OF ANY WEIGHT LOSSES/GAINS DURING THE DIET.  
A FULL DIARY IS PROVIDED GIVING FEEDBACK ON PREVIOUSLY ENTERED DIET DATA.  
THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES A NUMBER OF ANALYSIS FEATURES INCLUDING SEVERAL 
GRAPH FUNCTIONS AND AN OVERALL DIET SUMMARY.

DIET TRACKER COMES COMPLETE WITH A FOOD FILE CONTAINING  NEARLY 1000 
FOOD/DRINK ITEMS SO MOST OF THE DATA ENTRY IS BY A SIMPLE MOUSE CLICK.  
THERE IS ALSO AN OPTION TO ENTER DATA ON ANY FOODSTUFFS NOT CURRENTLY 
STORED IN THE FOOD FILE.

To set up Diet Tracker, select File and Run from the Program Manager.
Next type A:\SETUP.EXE if the installation files are on a floppy disk
or else type the path to where you have downloaded/copied the installation 
files.  Follow the on-screen prompts, selecting where you want to install 
the files.

When you first run Diet Tracker you will be presented with a screen
giving the Shareware details of this program, including where to send your 
$20 (£13 Sterling) registration fee.  You will also be shown your
individual user code.  

The program allows two diets to be entered, after which time a
password must be entered.  This password will be sent after the program
has been registered.

Diet Tracker also creates the following data files:
WEIGHT1.TXT  (Also WEIGHT2.TXT to Weight5.TXT for each new diet)
DIET1.TXT    (Also DIET2.TXT to DIET5.TXT for each new diet)
DIETHD1.TXT  (Also DIETHD2.TXT to DIETHD5.TXT for each new diet)
USERCODE.TXT

The file USERCODE.TXT contains a copy of the the user code which should
be sent with the registration fee.  Although this can be opened and
read, it should not be changed as the password I return on registration
is based on this code.
