Upgrade Procedures

Home Cookin 1.0 to Newer Versions:

     Home Cookin features a security key system which makes it easy for
     you to upgrade at no charge when new demo versions are released.

     1. Download latest Demo
     2. Replace your current HOMECOOK.EXE, HOMECOOK.TXT, and HISTORY.TXT
        with those from the new Demo version.

Upgrading from The Recipe Box (Atari ST, Amiga, Macintosh) to Home Cookin

     1. The upgrade fee from The Recipe Box (any version) is only $20
        (Please provide proof of purchase if you did not mail in your
         registration card)
     2. Transfer your current RECIPES or STORAGE folder to the PC.
     3. Rename the RECIPES or STORAGE folder to TRANSFER
     4. Place the TRANSFER folder (containing all data files) in the same
        directory as HOMECOOK.EXE
     5. Run Home Cookin to transfer your recipes and groceries to the new
        version.
     6. The TRANSFER folder will be renamed TRANSFER.OLD and may be deleted
        if you wish.
