Judges Strike Down Communications Decency Act

This morning, June 12, 1996, the Federal Court in Philadelphia,
PA issued a preliminary injunction striking down the
Communications Decency Act as unconstitutional.  The vote of
the judges was 3-0.

It is expected that the Justice Department will appeal the
decision to the Supreme Court.
