European Championship 2.0. 

By using this program, you accept the conditions specified
below (after the installation instructions). Please read

1. Hardware and system requirements

1. IBM-compatible PC
   Processor : 80286 or better (recommended: 80386 or better)
   RAM: 1 MB or more (recommended: 2 MB or more)
   Free disk space : 2 MB
   Graphics adapter : VGA Standard or better
   Sound card recommended

2. Microsoft Windows Version 3.0 (in standard mode) or better
   (recommended: Windows 3.1 or Windows 95)




2. Installation
------------------

1. Insert the installation disk in drive A.
2. In Windows Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu.
3. Enter A:INSTALL in the text box, and click the OK button.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.




"HAB Software" in the following refers to
HAB Software GmbH & Co. KG, D-20095 Hamburg, Germany.



3. Utilization and transfer: general 
----------------------------------------------

You may use the program in the form in which you obtained
it from HAB Software (via on-line services, floppy disks or
other media) freely, and we are happy if you pass it on to
others. 

You may not:

2. Use any part of the program or the files shipped with it
   separately from the program
3. Integrate the program into other products
4. Change the program in any way, decompile or disassemble
   it, and/or pass on the result of the change, decompilation
   or disassembly in any form.

The program may not be used and/or transferred in connection
with the pursuit of political or ideological objectives
or in any way that is likely to damage the reputation of
HAB Software.

Before the program can be used commercially - in particular for
advertising purposes - written permission is required from
HAB Software.



4. Rights acquired with the purchase of a registration key

5. Product liability
------------------------

This program was developed and tested and the data
it contains was compiled with the greatest possible care
and attention to detail. However, it is not possible to
guarantee a complete absence of errors.

HAB Software is therefore not liable in any way for any
damages entailed as a result of using the program and/or 
the data compiled in it. 



6. Copyright

The copyright for European Championship 2.0 is held by 
HAB Software GmbH & Co. KG, D-20095 Hamburg, Germany.

The copyright for the rules of the European Football 
Championship is held by UEFA, CH-1260 Nyon 2, Switzerland.

The flags used come from the "cc-Butterfly" graphics
library; the copyright is held by creativ collection Verlag, 
D-79111 Freiburg, Germany.

The copyright for the football displayed in the program is
held by Corel Corporation, Ottawa, Canada.

The graphics editor integrated in the program is one of
a collection of sample programs belonging to Borland 
Pascal 7.0. The copyright is held by Borland International.

The routines for importing and exporting photographs use
the DAVINCI and LEON DLLs of the engineering consultants
Herd and Nuding; the copyright for these DLLs is held by
Ingenieurbüro Herd und Nuding, D-64297 Darmstadt-Eberstadt,
Germany.




7. Internet service
------------------------

HAB Software provides a results service on the Internet
in conjunction with European Championship 2.0. You also
have the opportunity to set up your own European 
Championship Web page free of charge.

All services offered by HAB Software on the Internet in
conjunction with European Championship 2.0 are offered
on a voluntary basis.

HAB Software reserves the right to change, restrict or cancel
these services at any time without advance warning.

9. Concluding provisions
----------------------------------

Should any parts of the above provisions be contradictory to the law,
the validity of the remaining parts is not affected. Any invalid
parts should be replaced by provisions that correspond as far as
possible to those specified here.

Any disputes in connection with European Championship 2.0 are
to be settled in accordance with the law of the Federal Republic
of Germany. The legal venue is Hamburg.
