INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR KENO+PLUS VERSION 2.0

Congratulations!  In your possession is a program designed 
to imitate the popular casino game known as Keno.  This 
recently updated program, Keno+Plus Version 2.0, is written 
to provide the player a way to determine the odds of winning 
and the effects, if any, of a particular strategy for spot 
selection.  Keno+Plus 2.0 provides real simulations of the 
game as played in a casino.  Furthermore, the player can 
readily determine the odds, payoffs, and casino returns of 
all possible outcomes for a given ticket.  Using Keno+Plus 
over a period of time should improve a player's knowledge of 
the game.

Program features include single or multiple game play, 
complete listings of odds and payoffs, random ball 
selection, continuous play until a certain match occurs, 
ball selection summaries (tabular and graphically), listings 
of winning combinations, a Windows Help File, and a 
suggested strategy.  Keno+Plus 1.0 was featured in the 
January 1994 issue of PsL News, and has over 400 downloads 
since the first release in September, 1993.  Keno+Plus 2.0 
enhancements include improved graphics, calculation of 
casino returns, the option to change the payoff schedule, 
and a random ball selector for lotteries.

System requirements include Windows 3.1, VGA graphics card 
(640 x 480 or higher), and a mouse.

If you received your copy of Keno+Plus 2.0 in the mail on a 
diskette, then follow the instructions below:

1.  Start Microsoft Windows.
2.  Insert the diskette in drive A (or B).
3.  From the File Menu of Program Manager, choose Run.
4.  Type A:SETUP (or B:SETUP) and press ENTER.

If you downloaded your copy of Keno+Plus 2.0 from an online 
service, then follow the instructions below:

NOTE:  After downloading Keno+Plus, you must decompress the 
program (KENOPLUS.ZIP) using a utility program like PKUNZIP 
(a copyrighted program of PKWARE, Inc.) before you can 
install it.  Follow the instructions of your particular 
utility program to decompress the Keno+Plus file.

Option A:

1. Start Microsoft Windows.
2. From the File Menu of Program Manager, choose Run.
3. Type the drive and directory where the Keno+Plus files
   are located, followed by the word SETUP, then press
   ENTER.  For example, type C:\WAOL\DOWNLOAD\SETUP then
   press ENTER if your downloaded Keno+Plus files are
   located on drive C in the directory C:\WAOL\DOWNLOAD.

Option B:

1. Start Microsoft Windows.
2. Use File Manager to locate the SETUP.EXE file in the
   directory containing the Keno+Plus files, then double-
   click on it to begin the setup program.

NOTE:  To run Keno+Plus 2.0, a file called VBRUN300.DLL must 
be either in the Keno+Plus directory, in the System 
subdirectory of Windows (c:\windows\system), or in a 
directory with a PATH command identifying its location.  If 
this file was not included with your downloaded copy of 
Keno+Plus, then you must download it separately.  Most 
online services provide this file, or you can obtain a copy 
of it upon request from the author.
