OS/2 LOCKUP PASSWORD FINDER for DOS (version 2.2) All Rights Reserved. Copyright (C) Jerry Gawor, 1996. What is Lockup Password Finder? ------------------------------- OS/2 Lockup Password Finder is a DOS utility that finds and displays OS/2's standard lockup screen password. Until now, there was no way to retrieve forgotten "Lockup" password and the only option was to remove it completely using 'makeini' utility. Usage: ------ The program can be launch from any directory or any drive. You have to specify in the command line where OS/2 is located on your local hard drive. For example: 'lcpwfd c:\os2' or 'lcpwfd e:\bestos'. If no arguments specified the program is looking for OS/2 files in current directory. Remember, it is a DOS utility!!! OS/2 versions compatibility ------------------------- The program successfully finds password under OS/2 2.1 and Warp 3.0. It also should work under version 2.0 and Warp Connect, however, it was not tested under these versions. If any problems under these versions or any questions please contact me.
