Useful for debugging applications that make use of the palette API. This utility is shareware. Canadian registration fee is five Canadian dollars. Non-Canadian registration fee is five US dollars. This program does not have an install program and needs no supporting DLLs to run. Commands By Menu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ File Menu: Options... Displays the options diagoll box which allows you to choose the method that is used to show the system palette. Exit Closes the program. Help Menu: About Palette Monitor Displays the about box which reminds you to register the Palette monitor utility. Error Messages ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Palette Monitor can not start. The display device is not a palette device" This error will occur when attempting to start Palette Monitor on a display that does not have a palette. 24-bit and HiColor displays are the most common displays that will cause this error. "Could not load a dialog box from resource file." This indicates an error in the file that you have downloaded. Please try to download the file again. If this error persists contact the author. "Could not register window class 'PaletteMonitorWindowClass'." This indicates that another program is using the window class called 'PaletteMonitorWindowClass'. Please send a list of all the software that was running at the time that this error occured. "Palette Monitor requires Microsoft Windows v3.0 or later" This indicates that it is time to upgrade :)
