CENTRAL POINT ANTI-VIRUS SIGNATURE UPDATE


*Signature File Update Information for Windows Anti-Virus Version 2.x*

The self-extracting archive file named WINSIG.EXE is for users of Central
Point Anti-Virus for Windows Version 2.x, or later.  It contains updated
files that include the latest virus signatures available.

To update your version of Central Point Anti-Virus for Windows, follow these
steps:

1. Copy the self-extracting archive file WINSIG.EXE to a temporary directory
   on your hard drive.

2. Run WINSIG.EXE to extract CPAVSCAN.DLL, the update signature file,
   WNVIRLST.CPS, an updated virus list file, SMARTSIG.CPS, a DOS signature
   file used by VSAFE, and the README.TXT file.

3. Copy the files CPAVSCAN.DLL, SMARTSIG.CPS and WNVIRLST.CPS to
   the directory on your hard drive containing the Central Point
   Anti-Virus for Windows files.

4. Run the Central Point Anti-Virus Windows program.
