     QuoteMagic is a program that will write a new quote either daily or
each time it is run to two files:  QUOTE.ANS and QUOTE.TXT.  QUOTE.ANS is
a full-color ANSI compatible text file (with line draw characters).
QUOTE.TXT is a simple, no-color low-ASCII text file.  You can easily copy
these files to a welcome message or other area on your BBS.  Information
for setting the quote up as a welcome file for RBBS are included.  The
actual quote list file is stored in a simple ASCII format which can be
edited with any standard text editor.

     Please be sure to review the QM-BBS.TXT file, which serves as the
program's main manual.  Also, if you are interested in a version history
of QuoteMagic, review the REVISION.HST file.

NOTE:     You should also review the QM-QUOTE.LST file, which contains the
          list of quotes used by QuoteMagic.  The default quotes included
          with QuoteMagic may contain some quotes which you find offensive.
          These should be removed with a text editor at your discretion.

MOST OF THE QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE QM-QUOTE.LST FILE ARE COPYRIGHTED BY
THEIR RESPECTIVE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS (AS INDICATED AFTER THE QUOTE) AND ARE
USED WITHOUT PERMISSION.  USE THE DEFAULT QM-QUOTE.LST FILE AT YOUR OWN
RISK.

QM.BAT          Sample batch file for invoking QM-BBS.EXE and then
                combining the QUOTE.ANS and QUOTE.TXT files with PB.TXT.
PB.TXT          Page Break characters for use with RBBS.
